Welcome to the AnoLawg blog

Notes from a practicing firm building its own practice software — what we're shipping, what we're learning, and what it costs to run a solo-to-small firm in 2026.

Welcome to the AnoLawg blog

AnoLawg is built by The Pfleiderer Firm LLC — a working law firm that got tired of paying six figures a year for practice management software that still couldn't send an invoice without a plugin.

This blog is where we write about what we're building, what we're learning, and the economics of running a small firm in 2026.

What to expect here

We'll be posting on three beats:

  1. Product notes — what's shipping, what's next, what we're killing.
  2. Practice economics — billable-hour realities, seat pricing, what actually costs money in a small firm.
  3. Built-in-public — the real-world tradeoffs of building a PMS as the firm that uses it every day.

Why a blog and not just LinkedIn

Because this is ours. When a post lives on our domain, we control the archive, the RSS feed, and the audience that finds it five years from now. Everything here is also syndicated to our RSS feed for anyone who still reads the web the way it was meant to be read.

Thanks for being early. More soon.
