About AnoLawg

Practice software built by a practicing law firm.

AnoLawg was born out of years paying for practice software that billed like a vendor and felt like a stranger. We're building the system we wanted, and opening it up to every firm that wanted the same.

Our mission

Give solo and small firms the practice software that finally feels like theirs.

The tools running most small firms today were either built for 1,000-lawyer shops or abandoned by the team that built them. Either way, your firm is the one paying for it. AnoLawg is the opposite: shipped by attorneys who still run matters, priced like a seat costs what a seat costs, and owned — in the data sense — by the firm on it.

What we believe

Four values that shape every screen, setting, and billing decision we make.

Built by people who bill in six-minute increments

Every workflow — time entry, invoicing, matter permissions — is shaped by the day-to-day of a working firm. If it's slow for us, it's gone.

Your data belongs to your firm. Always.

Firm-scoped by mandatory architecture, not by a permission toggle that can be bypassed. We're the processor, your firm is the owner.

One price. No upsells. No meters.

Flat per-seat pricing, unlimited client portal access, no metered storage or API calls. We want your firm to grow without the bill surprising you.

Client-friendly by default

Clients see matters assigned to them — bills, messages, key dates — without a separate app, and without getting charged to exist.

How we build

Legal-first, not legal-adjacent

AnoLawg isn't a generic CRM bent into the shape of a law firm. It's matters, time, billing, calendar, documents, and communications — together, from day one.

Permission-first, not role-first

Admins grant granular keys (view_billing, view_rates, manage_users, etc.) per user. Matters can be restricted to specific team members. Clients only ever see their own.

Plain English over jargon

No "synergy," no "leverage your stack." We describe features the way attorneys describe their work. If a setting is confusing, that's a bug.
